GLWiz is a live television and media service delivered over Internet Protocol (IP) or Web, which uses a technology referred to as Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) or WebTV.
WebTV is a system in which a digital television signal is delivered using Internet Protocol over a network infrastructure, which may include delivery by a broadband connection. GLWiZ uses a two-way digital broadcast signal which converts data requests into video content for end users. Viewers have the ability to access many media sources including:
If you choose to enjoy GLWiZ online through our website, we offer LiveTV for free with 128kbps. For higher quality fullscreen viewing at 750 kpbs and access to VOD, TV Series and movies, you can select from one of the available subscription packages.
In order to enjoy GLWiZ from your television set, you will be required to purchase a GL™Box for a very nominal fee. The GL™Box connects to your television set, your internet, and an external source of signal. The GL™Box decodes IP video signals which are then converted into standard television signals for viewers. The GL™Box can be connected to any television set and GLWiZ can be viewed anywhere with a high speed internet connection.
In the near future, WebTV will become a completely interactive media experience. GLWiZ will expand its services to provide "Triple Play" to all consumers. Triple Play refers to VoIP, WebTV, and internet browsing capabilities all in one! GLWiZ will combine Triple Play with mobility services for an unforgettable and memorable media experience for all clients
